The 2024 AFL Draft is upon us – and it promises to be the most intriguing one in many a year.
With what experts tip as one of the deepest, most even draft pools ever, there’s less certainty about who picks who than ever before, with even Richmond weighing up who to take with their prized pick 1 – though it’s expected to be young gun Sam Lalor.
As in previous years, Night 1 of the draft will feature only the first round of the National Draft, and will be held at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on Wednesday, November 20.
The remaining draft rounds will take place on Thursday, November 21, while the Rookie and Pre-Season Drafts will be held at 12pm (AEDT) on Friday, November 22.

How to watch the 2024 AFL Draft on TV
The 2024 AFL Draft Nights 1 and 2 will be exclusively broadcast on Fox Sports’ AFL-exclusive channel Fox Footy (504).
Their coverage begins at 7pm (AEDT), while the draft itself is expected to kick off at roughly 7:20pm. That translates to 4:20pm in Western Australia, 6:50pm in South Australia, 5:50pm in the Northern Territory and 6:20pm in Queensland.
You’ll need a valid Foxtel TV subscription to watch Fox Footy on your TV.
How to stream the 2024 AFL Draft
If you’d prefer to live stream the 2024 AFL Draft, your best bet is probably Foxtel’s sports streaming service Kayo Sports.
As Kayo has all of Foxtel’s sporting content available to stream, you’ll be able to watch every pick on your preferred device from 7pm (AEDT).
